Duelbits VIP Program Shuttered, Hiring Spree Draws Backlash
DuelbitsJoe posts hiring call for VIP hosts and support staff, triggering a wave of backlash from disgruntled VIPs
DuelbitsJoe took to X this morning with a straightforward hiring announcement: the casino needs customer support staff and VIP hosts. The post drew 185 likes and over 130 replies, making it the most engaged Duelbits post of the week with over 12,000 impressions.
The replies tell two stories at once. On one side, a flood of job seekers, many citing years of customer support and iGaming experience. On the other, VIP players who used the thread to air unresolved grievances. blankaxee warned that 'no one in their right mind would apply to this dying casino,' citing promo manager Barry as the reason VIPs are angry. PerzJoze added directly that Barry 'has done nothing but make the VIPS angrier,' though he credited Barry for the weekly VIP slot bonus change.
MIRxbryk, who has been the most persistent critic of Duelbits over the past two weeks, replied bluntly that the site is 'unfixable' and accused the casino of hiring bots. Shikune went further: 'I could be if Barry got fired.'
The most striking signal came from XBTM Crypto, who posted separately that Duelbits has 'temporarily closed its VIP program, leaving users disappointed, with most of them moving to other sites.' The post included two images as evidence. This is the first public claim that the VIP program has been formally suspended rather than merely neglected.
Amid the criticism, soldreamngt struck a nostalgic note, recalling playing on Duelbits five years ago: 'loved the site and the VIP support, and miss that service being offered nowadays. What happened to duelbits? Can we still bring that back?' The question hung unanswered in the replies.

Will be going through comments & dms over the next few days, appreciate the responses 🫡
@DuelbitsJoe Keep in mind there are a lot of angry VIPs after all the ‘work’ promo manager Barry put in 🤣 no one in their right mind would apply to this dying casino.
@DuelbitsJoe Hope you know Barry has done nothing but make the VIPS angrier
🚨😵 BREAKING: @Duelbits has temporarily closed its VIP program, leaving users disappointed, with most of them moving to other sites. https://t.co/qpEcexAmhK
Would be interested, I have former experience in the casino space. I know what customer service is , and how to handle things fair and appropriately. I think if you give ex gamblers/streamers a chance at positions like this that understand that it would me way more beneficial to the brand.

MIRxbryk, who has been the most persistent critic of Duelbits over the past two weeks, replied bluntly that the site is 'unfixable' and accused the casino of hiring bots. Shikune went further: 'I could be if Barry got fired.'

Hiring thread cools as applicants overwhelm the backlash, DuelbitsJoe signals he is reviewing candidates
The hiring thread has undergone a dramatic tonal shift. What began as a magnet for VIP grievances has been completely overtaken by job seekers. By the end of June 29, the post had accumulated 298 likes, 207 replies, and over 32,000 impressions. The negative voices that defined the early hours now represent barely 4% of the thread's total engagement.
DuelbitsJoe returned to the thread late on June 29 to post: 'Will be going through comments & dms over the next few days, appreciate the responses.' The acknowledgment was brief but signals the hiring push is genuine and moving forward, not a PR exercise.
The applicant pool is diverse: seasoned iGaming professionals with CVs ready, college students looking for remote work, and crypto-native community managers. Several applicants received public endorsements. ValanoX drew multiple vouches from community members describing him as experienced and trustworthy. Scuffed, a streamer with casino experience, made a pointed pitch: 'I think if you give ex gamblers/streamers a chance at positions like this that understand that it would be way more beneficial to the brand.'
The VIP anger has not disappeared but it has been effectively sidelined. MIRxbryk, blankaxee, PerzJoze, and Shikune remain in the replies, but their comments generated no follow-up discussion and were buried beneath the applicant wave. soldreamngt's nostalgic question about bringing back the old Duelbits VIP experience still sits unanswered. XBTM Crypto's claim that the VIP program is temporarily closed remains unverified with near-zero engagement.
The thread's arc tells a story of its own: Duelbits still commands enough brand equity to attract genuine job interest, but the VIP trust fracture is real and unresolved. The hiring push may be a rebuild or a retreat; the next test is whether any of the VIP grievances from this thread receive an actual response.
